At first glance the flow seems to be to the left and up, but as you look closer you see the whole image is composed of vertical lines that vary somewhat in width. The effect draws your eye in and is pleasing to look at.
About Stan Reckard
My photography and digital art creations are an attempt to capture or imitate the beauty that I see in the world. There is beauty all around. It can be found in a sunset, a loon spreading its wings, a simple flower, an abstract cloud, a galaxy, or a person's smile. The list goes on and on. My desire is to capture some of this beauty and to share it with others. The inspiration for my artwork comes from the variety, beauty, and design seen in creation. God is the inventor of beauty (Gen 2:9) and it is evident everywhere. Although sometimes beautiful things can be harder to find, it can also be that we forget to look for it.
